Tethered to Truth

Roy Swart

In 2020 the world seems to be coming apart at the seams.

Hundreds of thousands dead in a worldwide pandemic, millions of people in the US out of jobs and thousands of businesses shut down, most schools across the country closed for in person classes (both public and private), many churches severely restricted in their public services by the government, violent protests in many big cities designed to initiate social upheaval. The only consistent theme seems to be an increasingly vicious and open rebellion against the things of God . Should we as Christians be surprised? Discouraged? Or is our faith designed to thrive in such chaotic circumstances? Roy will share why now is the most fertile time for Christian Apologetics and how we as believers can be equipped to effectively share and defend our faith in these unprecedented times.

Thinking Biblically

Roy Swart

Consistency is the ultimate currency for credibility in today’s culture.

Few people know how to achieve it, and even fewer actually practice it, but everybody wants it, and they bristle when it is compromised. Come and learn why the only real approach to Christianity is an “all-in” commitment. You’ll be surprised (and inspired) to see how thinking the way God thinks makes everything make sense.

The Bible: Fact, Fiction, or Fable? (#1)

Does the Bible we have today really contain what was written down over 2000 years ago or has it been changed? And, is what was written down true? From manuscript authority to eyewitness accounts, Josh presents convincing evidences supporting the reliability of the New Testament. The evidences for the validity of Scripture reveal that God has protected His Word through the centuries, and we can know that it’s true. This thrilling message will give you a renewed confidence in your faith and will help provide you with answers to questions about the Bible.

This generation, GenZ, WILL change the world. The question is, will we change it for the better or for the worse? How many of you feel like the characteristics of our generation are only viewed in a negative way? If you are a GenZer, do you want to learn how we can leverage the unique traits of our generation to further God's Kingdom? If you are an adult, come learn how to equip the GenZers in your life (kids, grandkids, employees, etc) to use their unique attributes for God's glory.

Breakout Session #3

Roy Swart
How We KNOW the Bible is True

The Bible is the foundation of our Christian faith; if it isn’t True we have no Faith. It’s not enough that the Bible was written shortly after the actual events, or that it was translated and copied accurately, or that it contains some accurate scientific information. Christians believe that every word was actually TRUE when it was written, that is really represents the very Words of God. No topic is as crucial in our day for being able to explain WHY we believe WHAT we believe. Unfortunately many Christians have never heard or thought through this approach. Come and learn. It will boost your confidence in your faith and improve your ability to defend it!
