Imagine hanging out with some friends after class or eating lunch in the lunchroom at work. You’re engaging in the typical chit-chat, like the weather and latest TV shows, when all of a sudden the conversation takes a serious turn. Someone remarks how women should have a right to their bodies and should have the free choice to abort if they choose; after all, fetuses aren’t really human beings. What do you say?
Defending your pro-life convictions is not easy and can feel awkward. In this day and age, engaging in the pro-life vs. pro-choice debate is inevitable, and the Ambassadors Forum wants to equip Christians with ways to argue for pro-life in a winsome way. In January, the Ambassadors Forum will be hosting their Friday Forum “6 Practical Dialogue Tips: What We’ve Learned From Talking With 5,000 Pro-Choice People” on January 15, 2021 at 7 PM. In this presentation, Josh Brahm, president and co-founder of Equal Rights Institute (ERI), will share some tips for creating the conversational environment where people with pro-choice beliefs are likely to change their minds.
