“Biblical Standards for Justice”

HERB GREY is a Beaverton attorney and has been a member of the Oregon State Bar since 1981. He regularly practices in all Oregon state courts, as well as the U.S. District Court for Oregon, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. Herb’s practice includes constitutional and civil rights litigation focusing on free speech, religious liberty and sexual autonomy matters.

Herb has also been an allied attorney with Alliance Defending Freedom since 1995, and he now serves on the national board of Christian Legal Society. As a long-time member of Southwest Hills Baptist Church, Herb has taught issues-oriented classes in the church and is a founding member of the Ambassadors Forum.

Herb’s talk will explore the origins and meaning of justice, how justice cannot be understood apart from a transcendent biblical standard and how it is being popularly misinterpreted and applied in our current society.
