Does the world seem to get darker and darker to you? As the news and legal policies tell more and more of how the world has fallen away from God, it is hard not to feel discouraged. For example, as critical race theory becomes more popular, it has infiltrated in almost all aspects of culture, including corporations, churches, and schools. Other policies, such as LGBTQ policies, are increasingly being enforced, even in places where young children attend, like schools (Oregon government link).

Though the world is dark, you don’t have to give in to the pressures of the world. Matthew 5:14-16 says “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it give light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” The Ambassadors Forum wants to equip believers to face challenges to the biblical worldview. Fortunately, there are lots of opportunities to do that. The annual Ambassadors Forum Apologetics Conference will happen October 8-9, 2021. Also, The Ambassadors Forum is hosting their Friday Forum on August 20 where Charles Jackson will speak on “How to Explain God’s Justice in Old Testament Genocide” at 7 PM at Southwest Hills Baptist Church. Both events have in-person and online options. As always, if you have a hard question that you want to ask, enter it here and the Ambassadors Forum will provide a biblical answer.
