There is no doubt that education is very important, and this pandemic seems to prove that. With the closures as a result of lockdown, kids had to attend their classes online, and remote learning does not compare to in-person learning as most kids have trouble sitting still and getting anything out of their Zoom classes. Despite challenges brought on by the pandemic, teachers and school staff (thank you!) have worked hard to work with the restrictions and provide education to kids in the best way possible.
While it’s great that schools care about providing good education to kids, there are some not-so-great aspects that raise concern for Christian parents. One obvious example is teaching the theory of evolution as an explanation for the creation of the world instead of an intelligent Creator. Public schools are teaching things that are unbiblical and can lead kids to leave the Christian faith.
The Ambassadors Forum wants to equip Christians to refute unbiblical teachings and that includes preparing Christian parents and their kids for the harmful teachings they will encounter. On April 16, 2021 at 7 PM, the Ambassadors Forum is hosting a Friday Forum titled “Public School Indoctrination: Things Kids Learn in Public School That Undermines Our Faith and Values” with Adrian Toader, a former public school teacher, as the speaker.
