The world is desperate to discredit God and the Bible through science. But science is from God and designed to bring Him glory. Learn how science can help us understand and explain our faith to others, with examples from a high-tech career and many practical applications.
About the presenter: From day one, our co-founder Roy Swart has challenged his own faith with piercing questions and relentless examination. He thinks that anything worth believing in should be able to stand up to any question or doubt, and encourages everyone he meets to put the Bible to the test and go where the data leads. Roy earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, has worked in the R&D sector of the semiconductor industry for over 20 years, has published papers and presented at conferences, and holds over a dozen patents.
About the presenter: Andy Frye lives in Oregon and has spoken at churches and camps across the United States on worldview, apologetics, church history, and engaging the culture. Andy has been faculty with Worldview Academy since 2008 and is the author of “The Image of God: A 9 Week Study.” He is the department chair for social studies at Grants Pass High School and has been an adjunct professor at Pacific Bible College, Concordia University, and Rogue Community College. Andy is a James Madison Fellow-Scholar and holds an MA (Liberal Studies) in history and political philosophy from Excelsior College, where he did work at Georgetown University and Oxford University, England. He enjoys soccer, music, and good coffee.

About the presenter: Adrian is a founding member of The Ambassadors Forum. He has a Master’s degree in Teaching and has been studying apologetics and discussing and debating with unbelievers for the last 20 years.
Consistency is the ultimate currency for credibility in today’s culture. Few people know how to achieve it, and even fewer actually practice it, but everybody wants it, and they bristle when it is compromised. Come and learn why the only real approach to Christianity is an “all-in” commitment. You’ll be surprised (and inspired) to see how thinking the way God thinks makes everything make sense.

Andy tackles one of the most serious and difficult questions from Christians and non-Christians alike — if God is good, why does evil happen? Or, to put it another way, why is the world broken? Although this is often a criticism of Christianity, it seems only fair that non-Christians also answer the question — if they can. Although we cannot fully explain the ways of God to man, it turns out that we can respond with thoughtfulness that makes sense of a broken world.

Friday Forum — July 2020.
Perhaps the biggest piece of evidence for an intelligent mind behind the world we see around us is the existence of information. Information cannot arise by chance, because it requires both design and purpose in order to be considered information. And yet we see it most clearly and inescapably in all of life, in the form of DNA. Where does this information come from?
In order to understand much of the rhetoric coming from CRT advocates, we need to get down to the root idea that lies behind the whole movement. It’s a centuries-old concept that has never brought anything but destruction. And until we know how to spot it, we won’t be able to understand or respond to those pushing it.
2021 March Friday Forum talk titled “I Never Saw You That Way.”
